Hi there, I’m Irina Baicea

A seasoned professional dancer and instructor, bringing a wealth of experience and a passion for movement to my dance platform. Trained by the former world champion and Strictly Head Judge Shirley Ballas, I have cultivated a distinctive approach to teaching that caters to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

    To put this is context, I am a middle aged man probably better suited to propping up a bar than going on Strictly. However, with Irina’s guidance and patience she has helped me to overcome extreme self-consciousness and lack of confidence in dance to a point where my partner and I thoroughly enjoy this joyous hobby.

    I also look considerably less like a monkey in shiny shoes, not entirely but getting there. Working with Irina has been a gift. If anyone ever felt they wanted to try, especially “ordinary” blokes, you’ll feel welcome, put at your ease and put through your paces. If I can, I assure you, so can anyone. Its truly great fun and we’ve made friends too. Get dancing, wish I had years ago. So much better than being kicked playing football or being smashed in a rugby tackle. It takes far my courage to dance too. Thank you Irina.
